Hi

I know, I know !!! I made a mistake yesterday, It's not really going to be my 1st Christmas.

What I meant was last year I was only 4weeks old so don't remember any of it & we didn't get any turkey as we were already too shitty & smelly. 13 of us all too young to go outside, not nice, no wonder we had no visitors for dinner.

bye now

Hi

Lots to brag about this time.

We went to LKA last Friday. Woody (L. Field of Dreams jw) actually got to a show & behaved himself very well. He won 2nd in Grad. His baby daughter, Polmennor Willow Pattern, was 4th in the very good Minor Puppy class but then was 1st in Puppy, so qualified for Crufts 2009 at her one & only chance, well done.

Me, I was 2nd in Junior & sister Blanche 3rd.

Mummy, Fern, won Open but the star of the day was Bliss (L. Follow Your Dreams jw ) who won Post Grad & then the CC!!! What a lovely way to end the year.

Looking forward to my first Christmas, I hear we get plenty of treats & the turkey is very tasty

Can't wait

Hope you all have a splendid time

Willow 6months

Hi

Oops I'm in trouble now!! Seems along with my recent successes I brought kennel cough home with me so we are all confined to barracks.

I'm blaming Woody, he must be jinxed. He rarely gets entered for shows but when he does something always seems to go wrong.

Anyway Jane & Roger went to the ISC of Wales open show yesterday without us and still the Lynwood Setters did very well. Bronte, L. Strands of Silk at Sandstream, was Best Bitch & RBIS and my sister, Blanche won Best Puppy in Show.

Woody's baby, Willow, won 1st time out in Minor Puppy, well done Angela. You will of seen this pretty girl at the top of the page, still can't get the photos to appear where I want them!!
Bye for now

James

James & Blomman

5 months

Sky's sister, Nora, Lynwood Kiss'n'tell Coppers

winning best Junior in Show

Hi I'm back again

been told off for not keeping you up to date - sorry just not had time.

Well after our success at Paignton I went off to the S of EIS open show & won 3 classes. Then to Bournemouth where we didn't do so well but cousin Diva, Lynwood Theme Song for Polmennor, won Grad & was 2nd in Post. Grad behind the CC winner. Well done Diva & Angela.

My sister, Blanche, made the long journey to SKC & was rewarded with 1st in Minor puppy, so well done Blanche & Sandy also.

NEEISC I got placed in my classes, Promise won veteran, Woody had to be withdrawn from his class as the silly sausage had a dead tail. So annoying as when we were leaving to go home he wagged it all the way to the car!!! Still his sister, Bliss, got 2nd in Post Grad & finished off the day with the RESERVE CC.

Our owners, Jane & Roger, went to Sweden for a weekend last month. They had a lovely time staying with Camilla & meeting 5 month old James, Copper's Undercover & of course all of the other doggies.

We are looking forward to James coming over to live with us next March.

They went to 2 shows over there, puppies can start showing from 4 months. At the first James won his class & his sister, Blomman, won hers & BPIS. Next day was for the young dogs up to 30 months, they both got 2nd's but James was only beaten by the reserve best dog. My sister, Nora, won best Junior in Show on the 2nd day.

There are pictures of them all at the top of the page, wanted to display them prettily but darn photos just kept going where they liked!!! Hate computers!!

Last weekend we went to Setter & Pointer, my last time in "puppy" at a Ch. show so I made the effort & won my class & BPIB. Cleverclogs Bliss won Post Grad & Promise & Fern won 2nd's

Grandaughter, Isobel, came to visit this week, scary things those babies I think, Bliss & Fern loved her though & kept giving her silly grins.

Yesterday I won the final points for my Junior Warrant and after going to the shows where I am entered I am to have a little rest from shows, not sure if I want to stay home but I've been told I must.

Will try to be a good girl & keep you posted more often

Bye for now

Hi it's me,Sky,

you've not heard from me for a while.

We had an upsetting time at the end of July when we all had to say goodbye to Erin, my Granny.

She was almost 13 years & life was just becoming too much of a struggle for her. She won 7 CC's & 5 Res.CC's & was the mummy to 3 Show Champions. A very special lady missed by all of us.

On a happier note...

We all won at National Gundog, me 1st Minor Puppy, 2nd Puppy, Bliss 1st Grad, Mummy Fern, 1st open.

Then off to Paignton, me 1st Minor Puppy & Puppy, Bliss 1st Grad, & Fern 1st Open & the bitch CC.

I won 3 classes at the SofE Irish Setter open show & now have 19 points towards my Junior Warrant & I'm only 9months old. We have been to a few more open shows but there hasn't been 3 in a class & some I came 2nd anyway!!

We had a lovely visit from Camilla from Sweden, who owns my Daddy, & Eva came too. Even had some sunshine one day. It was the week of Paignton & everyone celebrated during the evening whatwith Fern winning the CC & Eva's Vita winning Res. CC.

There that should of brought you up to date

See you soon

Hi Sky here
well we've been on our holiday in the campervan. What an exciting time I had, lots of new places to explore. Apparently we were all fairly well behaved off the lead, Fern our Mum was of course "goody twoshoes", My older sister, Bliss, came back perfectly to the whistle except when she decided to try to catch the swallows, and me I just do whatever Bliss does.
I was placed at the ISAE shows, best was 2nd in Puppy bitch, Fern won a 2nd, but Bliss was the star, she won her Graduate class at East of England, and again at the ISAE open show where she went on to win BEST IN SHOW.
Tracie, who took us all in her campervan, was going to take photos of us all but forgot so you will just have to take my word for it, we had a great time.

bye for now

Hi there,
news a bit scarce at the moment. We did go to South Wales show & I got placed 3rd & 4th, Bliss won the Graduate class & our Mum Fern was 2nd in Open.
The day before the show poor Jane got bitten by a nasty Jack Russell boarding at our kennels & needed stitches & a Tetanus injection & is still sporting a bandage on her finger, good job we all had our baths in the morning as we girls like to look our best for the judge you know.
You remember I told you about our planned camping trip, well luckily Tracie has bought a campervan so we won't be under canvas after all but even so it's not going to be very enjoyable if the weather doesn't get better, rain, rain & more rain!!
We all live in the kitchen & as there is 7 of us thats 28 muddy paws.
Bye for now

Blackpool

Sky here,
Well yesterday we went to Blackpool, we thought we might go for a paddle but we didn't mean in the ring!!
Seems results are not going quite in the right direction, I started with 1sts then 2nds now 3rds and my half sister, Bliss, has also followed suit at the last three shows, hope we don't get 4ths next. Our folks think we are winners though & say our time will come.
The day finished on a high note when Auntie Bronte, (Lynwood Strands Of Silk at Sandstream) won the Reserve CC, well done.
I brought back a new playmate but sadly she is not to stay. My sister, Amber, is looking for a new person to give her lots of love & attention.
Off to play again, Bliss thinks its great that I'm finally giving her some peace.

Sky's blog

Hi
today I thought I might just make you giggle.

Next month we are going camping, to a show or 2 of course. Now my owner, Jane, hasn't been camping for about 20 years & although she is "young at heart" well the body isn't!!! Putting her socks on in the morning can be a struggle & running around the ring with us leaves her breathless. We are going with her friend Tracie & I am sure she wouldn't call herself " a young slip of a girl" either.

They say it will be fun, for us dogs I am sure it will be, but maybe their respective partners, Roger & Nigel, have the better half of the deal with their "home duties"!!!

bye for now

Hi
My name is Sky & being the youngest member of my family I have been given the very important job of keeping you up todate with all the news.
We go to lots of shows, and I know all about them as I went to my first one last week!!

It was called Southern Counties & this is me beating all the other Irish Setter puppies.

My Sister, Blanche, was 2nd and our Brother, Ronnie, got a 5th, so not a bad start.

My older half sister, Bliss, won her Graduate class. Our Mum, Fern , got 2nd in Open and Auntie Promise won the Veteran class. A real family affair.

One of my other sisters, Nora, lives with our Dad in Sweden. She went to her 1st show weeks ago & she won Best Minor Puppy in Show, so I suppose she can't be bad either!!
This is her.
Lynwood Kiss 'n 'Tell Coppers
is her show name.
Well that's all for my first time writing a blog. We are off to our next show on Monday, I'll keep you posted!!!
